Ali Armstrong Sherwood
Vice President of Development
Ali joined TPZ after several years as the Director of Partnerships for The Trustees of Reservations where she focused on urban equity and community-centered work. With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit development, Ali has successful record of achieving ambitious fundraising targets, strategic engagement of a diverse portfolio, and strong stakeholder relations. Prior to The Trustees, Ali was part of the Development teams at Scholar Athletes, Citizen Schools and Back on My Feet, led development and education initiatives at New England Water Works Association, and served as the Environmental Analyst for a Massachusetts municipality. Ali holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Bradford College, a Master of Arts in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and a Certificate in Management from Harvard University. Outside of work, Ali is into cycling, running, boxing, hiking, traveling, and live music. She lives in Winthrop, MA with her husband, Shane, and their cat, Roxy.
