Adanma Ude

Senior Director of Community Partnerships

Adanma K. Ude is a lifelong Bostonian and experienced nonprofit leader dedicated to youth advocacy, strategic community engagement, and mission-driven impact. As the Senior Director of Community Partnerships at The Possible Zone, she is responsible for managing crucial strategic alliances and leading initiatives aimed at increasing impact for young people and their families, while also integrating TPZ more deeply into the broader community landscape.

Her extensive leadership background—including impactful tenures at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and City Year Boston—is fueled by a passion for creating lasting, positive change. Adanma’s leadership is defined by her ability to exceed strategic goals and foster inclusive, productive collaborations. Her career is more than a professional journey; it is a personal mission to pour back into the community that raised her.

Adanma’s dedication to public service and educational equity is evident in her significant contributions across the Commonwealth and within her community. A cornerstone of her commitment was her influential six-year tenure, from 2018 to 2024, as a member of and Co-Chair of the Parent and Community Education and Involvement Advisory Council for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). In this vital role, Adanma helped shape statewide policies and initiatives designed to strengthen the essential partnership between schools, families, and the wider community, ensuring that parental voices were central to the educational success of all students.

Adanma actively contributes her time and perspective as a dedicated member of the Suffolk University College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Board. Through this position, she supports the College’s mission, helps guide alumni engagement strategy, and works to enhance the value of a Suffolk University education for future generations.

Adanma holds an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University and a B.A. in English from Suffolk University. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family and two sons, Jeremiah and Micah.
