Work-Based Learning Manager

As a Work-Based Learning Manager, Luis will be coordinating our internship experiences and partnerships for students and co-teaching Future You this fall! With over 13 years of experience in workforce development within the education sector, Luis has established a significant track record of designing and implementing innovative programs that bridge the gap between education and career opportunities. His efforts involve collaborating with workforce development leaders and stakeholders to create academic pathways that align with labor market demands.

Prior to joining The Possible Zone, Luis worked at Wentworth Institute of Technology where he taught a Foundation of Career Management for the Industry Corps program. This role involved creating employment opportunities in Construction Management and Information Technology for students, contributing to their readiness for the workforce. Luis’s career has been driven by his commitment to ensuring equitable access to educational and career opportunities for underrepresented groups. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, he has effectively promoted initiatives that support diversity and inclusion. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Cambridge College, Luis combines his professional expertise with a passion for education, enriched by personal interests in cooking, outdoor activities, and recreational sports.
