A digital marketing agency run by award winning ad industry professionals, staffed by high school students.
Piloted in early 2024, Agency began as a digital marketing agency run by award-winning ad industry professionals, and staffed by high school students enrolled at TPZ. The team encourages and helps develop promising young talent enrolled at TPZ, with the goal of producing a portfolio of award-winning digital advertising work for TPZ Ventures and notable external clients.
While the digital advertising work continues- mostly for external pro bono clients- the focus of Agency has evolved to include a mini version of Launch with students ideating and launching a physical consumer product as a group. Stay tuned for further updates on the evolving work of Agency.
Work in Agency gives students an important alternative option to minimum wage employment in their community, which currently draws their focus away from their education and career-oriented skill development.
Client channels and project scope:
The Agency plans to begin by completing speculative work on a project-by-project basis for portfolio-worthy clients & award shows, as subcontractors to larger agencies, and for TPZ Ventures.
Supported by TPZ Ventures full-time and contracted domain experts, students will help identify prospective clients and execute work.
Each Agency project will provide real work-based learning opportunities that allow students to interface with small business owners in our immediate ecosystem, providing them with product management, digital marketing, or e-commerce support to enable their businesses to grow.
High school students take on the role of Junior Associate, a position designed for the most motivated and entrepreneurially-minded current TPZ students. Under the direction of domain experts and the supervision of Project Managers, Junior Associates in Agency will gain:
- experience in Product Management, Digital Marketing, and E-commerce
- exposure to the latest relevant AI and Cloud Computing tools.
