Luis Angel Sánchez Gálan
Educator/Advisor II
Luis is an experienced educator, having taught most recently at Excel Academy, where he served as the Head of the Special Education Department. Prior to that role, he taught at the Conservatory Lab Charter School, where he was a Co-Teacher for Spanish, STEM and ESL classes. He was also a teacher in Puerto Rico, both at schools and in informal settings, such as the Boys & Girls Club.
Luis has his M.A. from the Universidad de Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus, and speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese. He’s committed to equity and educational excellence, and excited to make an impact beyond a school-based setting. He’s looking forward to collaborating with our educator team to support students’ learning experiences.
