Boston Teens to Explore Entrepreneurship 9/28 in Jackson Square

The Youth Entrepreneurship Summit on Saturday, September 28th, will bring dozens of young people, ages 14-18, from across Boston together to explore their entrepreneurship dreams and build their skills and leadership abilities during a fun and engaging day of hands-on learning at The Possible Zone’s Innovation Center in Jackson Square. The free event will include interactive and engaging workshops, food, prizes, vendors, and keynote remarks from Kurt Faustin, father, entrepreneur, coach, success strategist, and Founder of The Dropout Academy.

Organized by The Possible Zone and its partners at the chica project, the Center for Women & EnterpriseLove Your Magic, and the City of Boston Office of Youth Engagement and Advancement, the 2024 Youth Summit builds off the previous successful Girls Entrepreneurship Summits in 2023 and 2022.

“The enthusiasm we witnessed from the girls and parents who joined us, the workshop facilitators, and our teams led us to make the easy decision to expand the Summit and to welcome more young people from across the city,” shared Raven Tukes, Vice President of Partnerships at The Possible Zone. “With our committed co-organizers, we aim to introduce teens to the entrepreneurial mindset, to give them space to envision their own creativity, and to help them see how building a business means building invaluable skills—from design thinking and problem solving, to those more technical in nature.”
