Programs aim to connect high schoolers to clean energy careers

Educator and student work on building a mini wind turbineExperiential learning makes a difference, Jeff Branson, Senior Director of STEAM Education & Partnerships, noted in a recent interview with The Bay State Banner newspaper for a story about programs that connect high school students to clean energy careers. “The more engagement we can give our students early on, and the more ownership they have of it, the more likely they are to pursue lifelong learning that adds value to technical learning, their economic outcomes, our societal outcomes. We’re making a long play here.”

Jeff referenced students’ experiences during The Possible Zone’s Clean Energy Deep Dive and Pathways programming which launched last year and will repeat again in Summer 2025.
