As a Data Scientist at TPZ, Allyson (Ally) uses predictive analytics to enhance program outcomes and inform strategic decision making, and ensures every team has the access to the data and information they need to drive student success. Ally graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with where she studied Neuroscience and Computer Science. Since then, she has specialized in bridging the gap between machine learning theory and practical application both at Avathon, an ML product company, where she customized models for clients needs and patented and published a model-building workflow, as well as at DateWise, where she used behavioral analysis to ensure safety on dates. After 10 years in Austin, Ally is thrilled to be back in the Northeast in Boston. In her spare time, she is an avid fiber artist who loves to knit, crochet, and sew, and stays active through rowing, running, and yoga.
