Dr. Michelle Sanchez earned her B.A., M.Ed. and Ed.D. at Boston College. While at BC, she was in the Donovan Scholars Program for teachers committed to urban education. In 2010, she completed her doctorate at Boston College in Educational Administration with a focus on strengthening the family and school partnership. She began her career as a founding Math and Science teacher at Epiphany School and served as the vice principal and director of the school’s summer program before taking on the role of principal in 2002 and in 2019 opened the Epiphany Early Learning Center. Outside of Epiphany, Michelle served as an adjunct professor at Boston College, and for the Urban Catholic Teacher Corp. She is a board member at Fessenden School, Beaver Country Day School, Urban Achievers, The Possible Zone, ABCD, Squashbusters and serves on the Boston College, AHANA Alumni Council and BU CEED Advisory Council. She was a member of The Partnership’s Next Generation Executive Program In addition, she has served as a District 4 Community Cabinet Member, on the School That Can Leadership and Advisory Council, MA Early Childhood Funder Collaborative Community Advisory Committee and was a former Bridge Boston founding board member. Dr. Sanchez is married and lives with her husband Lino Sanchez and two sons.
