Evan Denenberg
Educator / Advisor
Evan (they/them) is a STEAM educator originally from the Chicago area. They are passionate about creating student-centered coding and game design experiences, offering multiple entry points to STEAM through exploration aligned with authentic student interests. While working with youth, Evan also taught a class on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Tech at Boston University. With the rise of AI, they are focused on integrating LLMs (Large Language Models) in responsible ways which supplement education, problem-solving and information gathering rather than replacing them.
Evan holds a degree in Educational Design for Transformative Social Futures from Boston University, where they first came to TPZ as a STEAM Education intern. They are thrilled to be returning full-time as an Educator/Advisor. When they’re not teaching, you can find Evan at the yoga studio or rock climbing gym, exploring a thrift store, or watching a movie with friends.
