Proudly born to two immigrants from Trinidad & Tobago, Gilesa is a first-generation American and a Boston kid through and through. From pre-K to high school, Gilesa attended Boston Public Schools, where she graduated from Boston Latin Academy, then furthered her educational career at Emerson College, where she then completed a degree in Marketing Communications. Gilesa comes to TPZ as Director of Digital Engagement with both strategic and creative experience under her belt. She previously was Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Spyce Food Co (Technology acquired by sweetgreen); Content Marketing Analyst at KoMarketing Associates; and Marketing Events Associate at Abcam. Gilesa supports our varied strategic external and internal communications strategies, and over the course of time you’ll see changes across all our digital communications to help elevate TPZ’s brand and thought leadership, recruit students and staff, and engage with partners and donors, among other goals.
