Irena Acic, Ph.D.
Director of Evaluation
As Director of Evaluation, Irena is working with the program team and our existing Research & Evaluation team to lead the evaluation and continuous improvement of our work with students. Irena recently moved from California to the Boston area to join our team. Previously, she earned her Ph.D. in Communication from UC Davis where she spent six years doing quantitative research at the intersection of media and psychology, with a focus on minority identities. Prior to immigrating to the United States, Irena spent five years working as a journalist at a daily newspaper in Eastern Europe. When not working, she loves pastries, hedgehogs, and doing simple crafts with her two daughters.
