John Mendizabal
Educator / Advisor
John Mendizabal (he/him) is an Educator Advisor, and is excited to work with students pushing them to grow through making. John is a graduate of Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in international studies and minors in studio art and Hispanic studies
John is a photographer, filmmaker, and mixed-media artist from North Haledon, New Jersey. He has worked as a high school STEAM educator for the past two years, training students in laser cutting, woodworking, film, and photography.
Outside of work, John stays active biking, running, swimming, rock climbing, and playing basketball and soccer.
