Chief Expansion & Opportunity Officer
Ted is leading The Possible Zone’s (TPZ) efforts in scaling opportunities across new regions and school districts to drive the strategic execution of TPZ’s expansion efforts, positioning the organization as a national leader. He is working closely with TPZ’s Leadership Team and key stakeholders to facilitate the successful adoption of TPZ’s model into new districts.
Ted joins TPZ from a two-decade career working in school and district leadership in some of the largest urban school districts in Massachusetts. His prior seven years were spent in the Boston Public Schools, where he most recently worked as the Secondary Superintendent for College, Career, & Life Readiness, overseeing the district’s work in Career & Technical Education, Early College, Advanced Coursework, and Alternative Education among other realms. Prior to that, Ted worked as a principal in Malden, MA, and in Lawrence, MA. Ted is excited to bring his expertise, partnerships and passion for creating unique opportunities for students to TPZ!
Ted is a proud alum of the College of the Holy Cross, holds master’s degrees from Boston University and Salem State University, and completed his doctorate at Northeastern University in Educational Leadership & Administration. Ted and his wife spend most of their free time supporting their two school-aged children in their various music, theatre, and sports activities.
