Using TPZ Space

Holding a Meeting or Event at the Innovation Center at 31 Heath Street

The Possible Zone is excited to offer the first-floor Community Space at the Innovation Center at 31 Heath Street as a community resource.  The Community Space has a capacity of 30-40 for meetings, and up to 50 for lecture-style presentations.  We also have a classroom on the first floor that has a capacity of 15-20 for meetings or training sessions. The mission for this shared space is to host meetings, training sessions, and small programmatic events for mission-driven nonprofit organizations and/or community groups that strengthen connections and provide resources in the Jackson Square and surrounding Boston Communities.  We will also consider hosting meetings/events for local business and corporate partners. We cannot host weekend or late evening events.

For liability reasons, we typically do not host performing arts or exercise classes. Also are not able to host personal/family events such as birthday or graduation parties, baby/wedding showers, etc.  (However, we will periodically make exceptions to this rule for members of the Mildred Hailey C. Hailey Apartments community who cannot find local space for such events during renovations to the Mildred C. Hailey complex.)

Currently, use of the Community Space is free for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and organized community groups – though there may be a nominal fee if a dedicated cleaning service is needed after the event.  If the organization holding the meeting or event is not a nonprofit, or charges a fee for participation, TPZ will make use-fee decisions on a case-by-case basis.  These are TPZ’s current fee policies, and they may change in the future.
